Holy Friday Procession in Chieti
On the evening of Holy Friday, the procession starts from the Cathedral of San Giustino and winds through the streets of the old town of Chieti with its statues of merit and the seven sculptures of half of the 800 representatives of the highlights of the passion.

The “Perdonanza Celestiniana” is a historical-religious which is held annually in L'Aquila, and that has its climax with the opening of the Holy Door.
The celebrations take place throughout the week preceding the opening of the Holy Door, generally between 23 and 29 August each year.
